Her life then and now My beautiful Victoria was born on April 3, 1998. In my eyes as a grandmother to begin with, she was the most wonderful blessing a person could have received. At the age of 3, she was placed in a situation that gave way for me to be known as her Aunt Sherolyn. A year and a half later, she was placed in my home and I adopted her as my own and became her first real mother. Our home was always happy when she was around. She made so many friends and the house was always full on the weekends and evenings after school. Victoria would set up our office with dry erase boards, desks, binders, paper, computers, etc. and act as the teacher for any of the kids in the neighborhood who wanted to play school. She loved to be in charge as she seemed to be a natural leader.
She would create clubs and make up things for the kids to do. She would make up cheers and plays and dances for her and the kids who wanted to join. The neighborhood was always active when she was around, wherever we lived.
It's taken me this long to get enough courage to add things to this website about Victoria without breaking down uncontrolably. It's so hard to face life without her. She was always so happy and personable. We were never bored or at a loss for creative activity in the home.
Victoria was loved by so many. I want anyone who reads this to know how much I and my family appreciate all the candles and condolences. Life from now on will be empty for me where she is concerned as I loved her so dearly. I would give my life to have her back but I know that can't happen. But I plan to see her again in heaven, maybe sooner than later. Prior to her death, we planned to have a horse and rabbits for her as she loved them so much. She was so excited about having her own horse. She wanted to have a gocart to ride around the property and she loved to swing and swim.
Four year old Jazzy misses Victoria so much also. She asks me when we will get to see her again and why can't she come home? It's very hard for her.
With love to all those who cared and loved Victoria so much - Sherolyn Brandt & Jazzy - May 24, 2007 |
